Dear Mr. Dell, Recently you had a Image with ubuntu running on dell saying by popular demand. Well Fu** you I didn't vote for ubunfuckingtu linux. What happened to offering three types of linuxes? I know what happend you are a ubuntu user and you think just like one. Oh all linux must be ubuntu linux. Well I am fucking sorry that you feel that way. You just are proving that all ubuntu users don't respect other linuxes and want to shove your fucking opinion to others. Well fuck you. I help manage a companies IT that has thousands of users and hundreds of servers. They all mostly dell but because of this fucking restarted design that you made I will make it my goal to switch to all my servers to a real company that don't fucking suck. I will also make sure if someone says they want a dell to reconsider and get something else. I can tell you this because of your bias all purchases from now on will be IBM. | Randall really likes Fedora Linux. therefore while being an angry gnome, he is just upset with Dell's choice of Ubuntu. I would be happy with an Ubuntu computer! It would knock 50-100 dollars of the price! Plus, I wouldn't use Ubuntu anyway, I would format it and install something better.  |

Foul language really doesn't make you sound educated in the least. On topic tho, Dell has taken the one Linux that is at least mostly user friendly and shown that Windows is not the only option. It is a good way to start the Linux movement. Giving people the option of multi-linux distros would most likely confuse the Windows users that don't even know what Linux is. I think Dell did the right thing with releasing Ubuntu, because no one could tell me that another distro is actually more user friendly. No one has the documentation or web help that they have. I am a FreeBSD, OpenSUSE and Ubuntu user. I'm agreeing that Dell is doing the right thing and that your rant is completely useless and uneducated. Have a nice day. |
